Did anyone in Bangalore notice the Moon and a pair of shiny things in the northern sky today? It almost looked like a winking smiley in the sky. The 4 day old moon, Venus and a star (or was it jupiter?) were in perfect alignment to make it look like a smiling face. I was observing it on the way home. Unfortunately by the time I reached home, the sky became cloudy. If not I wanted to take a photograph. I'm sure one of the newspapers will have a photograph of it tomorrow.

It was surely on the news and it was seen mostly in Australia...
Well it was seen in Mumbai also.....and it was all over the media the next day...dont know if the Bangalore media covered it!
